The latest release of Tomahawk Gold has added documents stored in PalmOS Database (*.pdb) and Aportise files (*.prc) to the list of formats supported. Now you can load, edit, read, convert, print and even save ebooks in the Palm Database format! Currently Tomahawk will save documents stored in the PalmOS Database format (pdb) as plain text documents only. We are working on the ability to save DocBook files using DocBook v5.0 XML specs. Tomahawk can be used as an advanced editor for rtf, txt, xml, tmd, ctd (our own formats) and other file formats. Convert files to other formats. Import documents and convert to PDF. Footnotes and Endnotes - We have made Tomahawk even more author friendly with the ability to add footnotes and endnotes to your documents.

N-Up printing option! Print your documents 1-Up, 2-Up, Booklet style (2-Up) or 4-Up per page to save paper. You can opt to print All, Odd or Even numbered pages only. Save as emf files or convert to pdf. Previews in 2-Up mode can maintain aspect ratio or stretch to fill available area. Optional dividing border. Our new Booklet style printing option uses a complex algorithm to print documents 2-Up, double sided to cut your paper costs even further. If your document is 200 pages long, Tomahawk's Booklet style printing only requires 50 sheets of paper! Booklet output gives you either side or tent style fold depending upon the original orientation of your document.

Create N-Up PDF files! While N-Up documents are intended mainly for printing, you can also convert them to pdf. Tomahawk may well be the first word processor that allows you to create 2-Up and 4-Up, fully text searchable, hyperlink enabled pdf files directly without Adobe software or specialized print drivers installed!

Import Pdf files - With the release of Corel WordPerfect Office X3 on January 17th, 2006 the company announced that they had the first and only word processor to offer PDF import functionality. Hmmmm.....we beg to differ! Tomahawk has been able to extract and import text and images from pdf files since version 2.01 back in January 2005.

Scratch Pads. Drag & Drop or Cut, Copy and Paste between the main editor window and any of the 3 available scratch pads. Use as spare clipboards or repositories. Scratch pads are remembered between editing sessions.

18. Built-in support for WordPerfect files (*.wpd,*.wpt) v4 to v11. Imports with partial formatting and doesn't require WordPerfect to be installed.
