Fair Housing Initiatives Program (FHIP)
Fair housing organizations and other non-profits that receive funding through the Fair Housing Initiatives Program (FHIP) assist people who believe they have been victims of housing discrimination.
FHIP Grantees have long lacked a standardized data collection and reporting system. NFHA created an online database for FHIP Grantees that was supposed to offer a standardized reporting solution. The FHIP's that we have talked to expressed concerns about the security of confidential information stored on the web. Customize to fit your needs. Montana Fair Housing recently came to us with a request. They are sharing complaint statistics with other organizations in the state and the City of Billings had requested data about the type of Landlord/Tenant complaints Montana Fair Housing was receiving. Since most Fair Housing Organizations don't collect this sort of data, we needed to add a couple of fields to the Complaint Information table that would store this information as it came in. The total time to fill in those 2 extra fields is under 10 seconds, yet it allows Montana Fair Housing to track the specific type of information the City of Billings was requesting. We then helped them construct a simple SQL query and a custom report in the Report Designer that would retreive that data without revealing any confidential information. The total time required to retrieve the information, create the report and email that information is now under 60 seconds!
The Tracker allows you to capture all aspects of an intake including, but not limited to, client data, respondent data, document reviews, witness interviews, etc. Multiple complaints can be assigned to the same intake. You can even attach case specific documents to an intake! As of 2011-10-04, Tracker allows you to run spell checking in the Intake memo fields.
Several reports are saved directly to xls files for your convience.
Your reports can be saved to pdf files (and several other formats) without any other software being installed on your computer.
Using the Tracker's ability to capture and input paired tests that are associated with an intake, you can keep track of costs for both the intake and the paired tests. Not all tests have to be associated with an intake if they are run independently.

Tracker's Contact Manager Add-on allows you to keep track of all your important contacts. Find your contacts on the web or even find a map of their location. Each office user will have their own unique address book.
Tracker's DocuPark Add-on allows you to Attach documents, spreadsheets, emails, etc. to your Intake records. This means that all files associated with a particular Intake are ready for viewing, printing or emailing at the touch of a button.
